Figure Ground Page War I:
Create a design in black and white, using multiple letterforms, in which it is impossible to distinguish the foreground from the background.
The Rules:
1. Design must be 8.5 x 11
2. Use as many letters as you need, mix fonts, distort letterforms, wreak havoc.
3. You should not be able to recognize any of the letterforms in your design.
4. All letters and shapes should all overlap always
5. Design must be BLACK and WHITE (no gray).
6. Your design should use equal amounts of black and white to achieve the desired effect.
7. Your distorted letterforms can go off the edge of the page.
8. You may NOT use any effects other than the ones described in class.
9. You have the entire class to work on this assignment. Take your time and do a good job.
10. Remember to save both your Illustrator file (.ai) and your .png.
